Business Development Executive

ASI is seeking a competitive, dedicated, driven Business Development Executive to introduce hardware, software and managed print services (MPS) technology solutions to select, strategic businesses located throughout the Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas Metroplex - Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at our Fort Worth, TX office.

 

As a Business Development Executive, you are a key member of our sales and marketing team contributing directly by connecting with and establishing initial relationships with customers.  Your primary goal is to engage, learn about, and qualify customers in order to establish productive in-person meetings with your outside sales team members.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Initiates contact via phone, email. and social media, utilizing CRM and database technology to access specific, targeted accounts
  • Meets and exceeds contact, qualification, and appointment setting goals
  • Maintains customer relationships
  • Regularly communicates with internal and external customers
  • Updates CRM and databases, gathers, documents, and provides necessary information

 

Requirements:

  • Two (2) years of successful phone sales
  • Accomplished and effective at coordinating qualified in-person appointments
  • Prior training, experience, and/or understanding of consultative selling processes
  • Possesses exceptional phone, email, and social media etiquette, as well as remarkable interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), business acumen, problem solving, multi-tasking, customer service, attention to detail, organization, follow-up, and time management skills
  • Competitive, unflappable, self-motivated, highly adaptive to change, a team player
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite – specifically MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook, MS Dynamics CRM, Adobe Reader, and the Internet, as well as solid typing skills
  • Knowledge of hardware, software, managed print services (MPS) technology solutions, information technology (IT), office technology / equipment, and/or mail technology / equipment is an asset
