Account Executive

ASI Business Solutions is seeking a competitive, fun and driven Account Executive to offer a comprehensive portfolio of business services and solutions including hardware, software, and technology services specializing in document life-cycle solutions and information technology (IT) to strategic, protected accounts located in the Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas Metroplex.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Working primarily in the field, creating new as well as maintaining existing business opportunities by regularly prospecting, networking, using social media to initiate and develop lasting relationships with customers
  • Engaging, creating awareness, and building relationships with key decision makers
  • Supporting direct marketing campaigns - including following up on our telemarketing teams' efforts
  • Facilitating and strengthening relationships with clients, working closely with ASI's Sales Support Team
  • Developing price quotes, proposals, and responses to Requests For Proposals (RFPs) as well as Statements of Work (SOW) as needed by customers


  • Two (2) to three plus (3+) years of business to business (B2B), outside sales experience 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications, Management Information Systems (MIS), and/or a related field or concentration, or equivalent, related work experience
  • Possesses exceptional business acumen, communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – specifically MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook, a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application, and the Internet

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales experience in the Document Management, Printing, Managed Print Services (MPS), Information Technology (IT), Hardware, Software, and/or Managed Network Services (MNS) industries
  • Prior training, experience, and/or understanding of consultative selling processes
  • Familiarity with selling intangible solutions
  • Competitive, self-motivated, a team player, unflappable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, multi-tasking, attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Systems and MS Dynamics CRM
